Description
PIKA FastOrange Brett Broth (Bouillon) is a PCR-grade culture medium for the visible or PCR detection of Brettanomyces yeasts in the craft brewing process, winemaking process, and packaged products. Selectively grows Brettanomyces while inhibiting growth of S. cerevisiae and other winemaking yeasts.
Samples are added to Fast Orange Brett in a 1:1 ratio, and incubated at 25 °C. Samples can be processed by PCR after 4 days enrichment, or growth can be detected by visible color change after 5-10 days.
Convenient, ready-to-use enrichment tubes for direct sampling. Just add 5 mL sample directly to the tube.
