Description
PIKA FastOrange Wild Yeast Agar is a culture medium developed to detect wild yeasts and molds in brewing process, and for the quality control of packaged products. The media suppresses growth of bacteria and brewers yeasts, while growing wild yeasts including Diastaticus and Brettanomyces. PCR is recommended for absolute confirmation.
Fast Orange Wild Yeast Agar is provided sterile in ready-to-use bottles. Simply heat the agar in a water bath or microwave, and pour your plates. No autoclaving is necessary.
